Antibiotic-Free*

The vast majority of our animals are healthy and never receive any antibiotics. However, just like humans, occasionally one will need medication to prevent death or suffering in which we will use it on a limited basis. Any animal that is treated is well marked to avoid any mistakes until the proper withdrawal period is over. We observe all withdrawal periods for milk or meat to avoid any residues in the product. We feel that this exception is the proper and ethical treatment of animals.
