Cooking Tip: For classic liver and onions, soak sliced liver in milk for 30–60 minutes to help mellow its strong flavor. Lightly coat with seasoned flour and cook with caramelized onions in butter or oil until the liver reaches an internal temperature of 160°F. Avoid prolonged cooking to help maintain a tender texture.

Nutrition Note: Beef liver is exceptionally rich in preformed vitamin A and copper, so moderate portions are recommended. Pregnant individuals should consult their healthcare professional before consuming liver because of its high vitamin A content.
