Eggs colored by Nature!!! Colors may vary from white, cream, olive, blue, light brown to dark brown. While the colors may vary, these eggs all taste the same and are healthy for you. These eggs are from our diverse flock of hens raised free-range on pasture where they can run, scratch the dirt, chase all kinds of bugs and just be a chicken. Besides grass and bugs, the hens have some non-GMO grains to supplement their diet. There are no drugs, antibiotics or GMO grains in their feed. Eggs are gathered twice a day. The hens are rotated to a different pasture, following behind the dairy cows, every few days. A mobile hen house keeps them safe at night from predators.
Not only do these eggs have more flavor than store bought eggs but they are healthier for you. Eggs from hens raised on pasture have up to twice the healthy omega-3 fatty acids, 2 to 3 times more vitamin A, 3 times more vitamin E, and up to 7 times more beta-carotene than eggs from hens NOT raised on pasture. The pastured eggs also have up to 1/3 less cholesterol and 1/4 less saturated fat.
