Simple Cooking Instructions – Oven-Roasted Chicken Thighs

  1. Thaw: Thaw chicken thighs overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat: Heat oven to 425°F.
  3. Season: Pat thighs dry with paper towels. Rub lightly with olive oil or melted butter, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and your favorite herbs.
  4. Arrange: Place thighs skin-side up in a lightly greased baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Roast bone-in thighs approximately 35–45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F. Boneless thighs generally require less cooking time.
  6. Serve: Enjoy with roasted potatoes, fresh vegetables, rice, or your favorite homemade side dishes.

Farm Kitchen Tip: For exceptionally tender, juicy chicken thighs, try cooking them to an internal temperature of 175–185°F. The dark meat becomes wonderfully tender, while the skin develops a delicious golden-brown crispness. For extra flavor, brush with honey garlic glaze or barbecue sauce during the final 10 minutes of cooking!
