Pasture-Raised Chicken Feet
Rich in Natural Collagen • Perfect for Homemade Bone Broth
Our pasture-raised chicken feet come from chickens raised with access to fresh air, sunshine, and green pastures at Country Meadows Farm. Chicken feet are a traditional favorite for making rich, flavorful bone broth and homemade stocks.
Naturally rich in collagen, gelatin, and connective tissue, chicken feet help create a thick, nourishing broth with wonderful body and flavor. Simply simmer with vegetables, herbs, and seasonings for a delicious foundation for soups, stews, gravies, and sauces.

Simple Cooking Instructions – Homemade Chicken Bone Broth
- Prepare: Thaw chicken feet in the refrigerator. Rinse, inspect, and remove any remaining yellow skin or outer nail tips if necessary.
- Combine: Place 1–2 pounds of chicken feet in a large stockpot. Add 1 chopped onion, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (optional), and your favorite herbs.
- Add Water: Cover with approximately 3–4 quarts of water.
- Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and gently simmer for 4–6 hours, or longer for a richer broth. Keep the ingredients submerged and add water as needed.
- Strain: Remove the chicken feet, bones, and vegetables. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh strainer.
- Enjoy or Store: Use immediately in soups, stews, gravies, or sauces. Refrigerate promptly in shallow containers and use within 3–4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
Farm Kitchen Tip: For an especially rich, gelatinous broth, combine chicken feet with chicken backs, necks, or a whole chicken carcass. Your broth may become thick and jelly-like when refrigerated — that's the natural gelatin!
