The T-Bone steak is similar to the Porterhouse steak as they are both cut from the short loin. Both steaks include a "T-shaped" bone with meat on each side. On one side is a tenderloin filet and the other is a New York strip steak. T-Bone steaks are cut closer to the front of the short loin and contain a smaller section of tenderloin compared to the Porterhouse. Great combination of texture and flavor.
