Pasture-Raised Beef Cube Steak (Tenderized)

Tender, Flavorful, and Perfect for Quick, Home-Cooked Meals!

Enjoy the wholesome, delicious flavor of Country Meadows Farm Pasture-Raised Beef Cube Steak, raised with care on our family farm using regenerative farming practices. Our cattle graze lush pastures and enjoy a forage-rich diet, producing quality beef with rich, satisfying flavor.

Our cube steaks are mechanically tenderized to help break down the muscle fibers, making them a convenient and versatile choice for everyday cooking. These steaks are perfect for traditional country-fried steak, Swiss steak, beef and gravy, or a hearty home-cooked meal.

Why Choose Country Meadows Farm Cube Steak?

  • Pasture-Raised Beef – Raised with access to fresh pasture and a forage-rich diet.
  • Mechanically Tenderized – Prepared for easier cooking and a more tender bite.
  • Rich, Delicious Flavor – Full-bodied beef flavor that makes every meal satisfying.
  • Quick & Versatile – Excellent for country-fried steak, Swiss steak, smothered steak, and slow-cooked dishes.
  • Regeneratively Raised – Our farming practices focus on building healthy soil, improving pastures, and responsible livestock care.
  • Family Farm Quality – Proudly raised on our family farm, established in 1879.

Cooking Tip: Lightly season and bread your cube steaks for classic country-fried steak topped with homemade sausage gravy. For extra tenderness, simmer slowly with onions, mushrooms, and beef gravy. Because cube steak is mechanically tenderized, cook to an internal temperature of at least 145°F and allow a 3-minute rest.

From Our Pastures to Your Table — Farm-Fresh Quality You Can Taste!

Cube steak comes from the top round or top sirloin. It can be a tougher piece of meat and therefore it is commonly tenderized and flattened. We like it pan-fried on the stove, but it can also be used as you would use round steak, or beef stew by slowly simmering it to tenderness in flavorable soups, stews and slow-cooked meals.
